1. Who we are

This notice explains how Zorion Research handles personal data in connection with zorion.asia. Zorion Research is a team of finance students at VinUniversity in Hanoi, Vietnam. You can contact us at research@zorion.asia.

2. What this site does not do

This site is built to collect as little as possible. It does not use:

• cookies of any kind;
• analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising;
• third-party scripts, embedded social media, or chat widgets;
• contact forms, accounts, or newsletters.

3. Fonts, images, and videos

Fonts, images, and videos are served from this site itself, not from outside services, so loading a page does not send your data to any other company.

4. What we receive

We receive personal data in two ways only:

• Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write.
• Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records technical details of each request to the site, such as the IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time, and the referring page.

5. How we use it

We use emails only to read and reply to them. Server logs are used by our hosting provider to run the site, keep it secure, and investigate faults or abuse. We do not use either to build profiles, for marketing, or for automated decision making.

6. Legal basis

We handle the data in your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to write to us. Server logs are kept for the legitimate purpose of operating and securing the site. We handle personal data in line with the personal data protection law of Vietnam.

7. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except: our hosting provider, which stores the site and its server logs; our email provider, which stores our correspondence; and authorities, where the law requires it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with the matter you wrote about, and then delete them. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own policy, and are then deleted.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it, or stop using it;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before.

10. Making a request

Send your request to research@zorion.asia. We will reply as soon as we can, and within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the competent authority in Vietnam.

11. Security

The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We keep correspondence in a password-protected email account and limit access to the members of Zorion Research who need it.

12. Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly receive personal data from children.

13. Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
